• Usage: We use this data only to fetch real-time weather information via the OpenWeather API.
• Control: You can enable or disable location access through your device settings at any time.

B. Device and Usage Data

We may collect certain information automatically to improve app stability and performance, including:

• Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• App usage statistics and crash reports.

2. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• OpenWeather API: We send location coordinates (latitude and longitude) to retrieve weather data. No personal identifiers like your name or email are sent to this provider.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): The App displays advertisements. AdMob may use advertising IDs (e.g., Android Advertising ID) to show personalized ads. Learn how Google uses data.
• Google Play Services: Used for core app functionality, including location features and updates.

3. Data Retention and Security

Location data used for weather fetching is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently on our servers. Local data, such as your saved cities, is stored only on your device's local database (Room).

4. Children’s Privacy

DryCast does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our records.

5. Your Choices and Rights

• Location Access: You can use the App by manually searching for cities without providing GPS access.
• Ad Personalization: You can reset or opt-out of personalized ads in your Android device's "Google Settings > Ads".
